As we were doing a special access tour of the Colosseum, we had to arrive there at 8.15am. Evan set the alarm for 6.30am so we could cook ourselves some breakfast and make it there in plenty of time. Except... Evan's phone battery went flat and we didn't wake up until 7:40am. We left our room in a mad rush, but luckily we made it in time. The tour we went on granted us access to the underground area of the Colosseum, as well as the third level, which isn't accessible to regular visitors. Our guide was very informative, and the tour gave us a good insight into how the Colosseum was back in the day.
