Rome Day 2- Trevi Fountain + Rainbow MagicLand

After we ate our breakfast, we went through the usual morning routine of checking our social networks and deciding what to do for the rest of the day with the assistance of the internet. While Evan was playing Angry Birds (boring), I decided to have a look at the website for the new theme park called 'Rainbow Magic Land' that had recently opened and had been heavily advertised at the Roma Termini. Despite not initially intending to go Rainbow MagicLand, the tune on the website got stuck in our heads and eventually convinced us to go there after we visited the Trevi Fountain.

Evan looked like Aladdin.

So, the train trip took 40 minutes, and then we had to get a taxi because it was located further out then we thought. We didn't get there until 4pm. By this stage, we were kind of wondering whether or not it would be worthwhile, considering the price of entry + train tickets + taxi fares. However, upon entering we knew that it would be worth the money because the rides looked really awesome and there were practically no people queued up for anything. It was a bit spooky actually, kind of like a ghost town. We went on the best rides 3-5 times each, and went on every other ride in the park. It was lots of fun, and the water rides definitely helped us cool down in the 37 degree heat.

This bit on the biggest roller coaster was insane.
